EastEnders has confirmed a new love interest for Eve Unwin.
In scenes airing on BBC One next week, Eve goes on a date with a woman named Tessa at Walford East.
However, things are quick to get awkward when they bump into Eve’s former flame Suki Panesar, who is there for lunch with her family.
The pair might have called time on their secret love affair after Suki’s son Vinny caught them earlier this year, but it looks they will find their way back into each other’s lives.
However, this is set to have major consequences as Suki’s evil husband Nish will discover their relationship.
“He will discover the affair and obviously, when that happens, all hell will break loose,” the soap’s executive producer, Chris Clenshaw, previously teased.
Clenshaw also teased what other storylines viewers should keep an eye out for in the run up to Christmas, saying: “I think we should keep a close eye on Kathy and Rocky and their relationship. Kathy’s currently unaware of the financial struggles that Rocky has found himself in.
“We do know that there’s going to be a huge fire in the cafe and that event will have huge repercussions for the Beales as lives are left hanging in the balance. I think really you need to keep an eye out on each of those Six women.”
Elsewhere, there will be “trouble” for Denise and Jack due to an “infidelity”, though Clenshaw remained tight-lipped on who will cheat and who they cheat with.
