After recent episodes aired, fans of the show are convinced that they have sussed out who Suki, played by Balvinder Sopal’s “old friend,” is after she unexpectedly rolled up to the square.

A fan of the soap wrote: “If Suki’s ‘old friend’ turns out to be the ‘it was his WIFE’ neighbour, I will LOVE it. I thrive on angst.

“It’s a good thing if it keeps Suki and Eve on the front burner. Also, chances Nish is behind her sudden appearance (if it’s her) in an attempt to break up Sukeve? #EastEnders.”

Another show viewer replied to the X(Twitter) post and said: “That’s been on my wish list. If it’s her, I’m surprised they’re playing that beat so early. I do expect them to be more backburner as the year goes on.”

While a second user posted a ‘”hat gets a big oh yes please!” Carly Shay animated GIF.

Eve and Suki crossed their biggest hurdle in EastEnders after Nish Panesar, played by Navin Chowdhry, agreed to a divorce while recovering in hospital.

The couple were due to run away together before The Six got caught up in Keanu Taylor, played by Danny Walters murder, which prompted them to stay.

Now Eve has moved Suki into Stacey played by Lacey Turner’s house, the arrival of Suki’s friend could completely change the couple’s relationship dynamic and cause more trouble than intended.

EastEnders airs on BBC One and is available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
